First bloom of the season!

This is the first clematis bloom in my garden in the season. It's about 5 inches across. I want to say it is Wildman, but it could be Niobe. Either way it is stunning!

Day 3 at NYNow.

Lots of chinoiserie goodness! My personal favorite! Gary at the Willow group always does such amazing flowers. Amazing fragrance!

Day 1 in New York.

Chinatown is so lovely and colorful! There was a Chinese band playing in Columbus Park. And I can't tell what the black fish thing is. Sea cucumber perhaps?

I'm off!

After the pre-tour for the gardens tomorrow, I ran to the airport where I'm catching a red eye flight to New York City for the gift show. I'm leaving Frenchy and Cindy in the garden to show people around tomorrow. Hope it goes well!

Pre-tour of the green on green garden tour.

Caught a few lovely Gardens tonight, as a pre-tour for the green on green tour tomorrow. It's a benefit for Albertina Kerr.

A family-style event.

We set an event on Monday at the Allison Inn and Spa in Newberg. What an amazing place with amazing service! Mis-matched tables, chairs and table cloths with cheerful little dahlias and sunflowers set the tone for a lovely family-style dinner! Could not have been lovelier!

Miffy!

Look who is lighting up the shop's windows! It's Miffy, otherwise known as Nijntje in Dutch, her original language. Ridiculously cute!!!

The Phantom chair. It's outdoor. It lights up. What more could you want? So lovely. Stop by the shop and have a seat!

The Neue Gallery

An amazing exhibit of degenerate art. This was art that was deemed inappropriate by Hitler in 1937. Some of the artists included Kandinsky, Klimt, etc. So lucky to have seen this! Such an important exhibit and a powerful statement.
