Today, I will FINALLY get to work....

But last night we found this cute little Spanish restaurant in the Village called Sevilla and had the most amazing Paella. Then it was off to Magnolia Bakery for Hummingbird Cake. I really need to get to work.....

Lunch at Bergdorfs, a bit of shopping, a stroll down 5 th Ave and a visit to Mood Fabrics (uh-oh). Can you say LOTS of boiled wool for fall.... ABC Kitchen for dinner and then I SWEAR I will go to the gift show tomorrow and get some work done. Sheesh!

New York gift show.....

First day in NY and I have accomplished nothing, really. View from our windows of the East River and towards Downtown and the new WTC bldg. under construction. Lunch at 2nd Ave Deli, drinks at The James Hotel.... Walk walk walk through SoHo and dinner at DBGB. And beer....... Thank God for beer..... And for my lovely travel buddies Miss Laurie and Miss Cindy. Tomorrow, it is time for some serious shopping...... That is, after the Prada and Schiaperelli exhibit at The Met AND Mood Fabrics. YIPPEE!!!!

Damn it is hot!!!

After a long and ridiculously hot day in the garden (open for HPSO), Frenchy and I are enjoying a lovely air conditioned dinner at The Observatory Lounge. Amazing place as always. Run screaming to this place and eat! You will not regret it. You will indeed thank me. Ciao!!!!

HPSO open garden day.....

My garden looked great today for the HPSO open garden day! Not too hot, just a little breeze and a ginger lemonade! Perfect!

I was playing hookey from the shop and the alberta street fair today..... Just let the girls handle it big thanks to Miss Katie and Miss Lindsay!!!!

Road trip!

Frenchy and I tok a bit of a road trip last week. First night....Carmel, CA. Stunning. I used to live in pacific grove (next door). Nice to revisit. Can I have this house in Carmel? Please?

It' 77 degrees Sangria(s) in hand. Just me and Frenchy. And the beasties, of course. Delightful. Added a new piece of metal sculpture by the chaise lounges. The Empress of India nasturtiums and the Trumpeter rose are looking awesome. Have a lovely weekend!!!
