Miffy!

Look who is lighting up the shop's windows! It's Miffy, otherwise known as Nijntje in Dutch, her original language. Ridiculously cute!!!

The Neue Gallery

An amazing exhibit of degenerate art. This was art that was deemed inappropriate by Hitler in 1937. Some of the artists included Kandinsky, Klimt, etc. So lucky to have seen this! Such an important exhibit and a powerful statement.

It's been a while c

Ok. I'm a slacker. I have not been here for a while.

But to makeup for it here are some pictures of the vintage garbage cans I got on a trip to CA with brand new agave parryi truncatas since the lovelies I had died over the winter. So sad. Anyhoo..... I got a few flats flats of dichondra silver falls which make the perfect halo like accompaniments in the pots. I cant wait until they start really trailing out of the pot. So cool. Alright then. There you have it for now.

I went to the Theodore Alexander opening party for Jamie Drake's new furniture line and there he was! With Alexa Hampton no less! Two of my favorite design rock stars! Such a lovely new line and such a fun party!

Seaside Gardens

As if shopping all day at San Marcos wasn't enough, we visited seaside gardens about 15 minutes away from San Marcos. They had the most amazing display Gardens and Jose was so hospitable and let us tour the nursery after closing time. If ever in the area you must check this place out. It is quite unbelievable!

More of San Marcos.
