Lovely new stuff!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about what is happening in the shop right now. We received our first shipment of Steven Shell Furniture. Hand made, embellished and hand painted. Great style - look at this stunning console table with a hammered tin top scrolled legs and embellished with chrome nailheads. We also received pillowcases from Petit Coterie in linen/burlap. The Chinoiserie fretwork painted red chairs are also by Steven Shell - so lovely!!!! Can you see those amazing red tulipwood boxes, the stunning grey tulipieres and the beautiful venetian mirrors? LOVE IT!!! Lastly, the chrome z-leg stools are vintage and recovered in a killer heavy linen ticking. Whew!

notice the detail on the zinc top of the Steven Shell console table.....

Jardin De Ville

Dear god this line is beautiful. The yellow fabric on these pavillions
were theist gorgeous yellow I have ever seen. This line is divine. And
I will be bringing in a few pieces for spring. They were sooooooo nice
and I can't wait to place my first order.

Does this look like outdoor furniture to you?

So there is this line form Belgium that I found at the Maison show two
years ago that I was not able to order, called Massant. Classic pieces
in weathered teak and meant for outdoor use. So beautiful and I really
wanted it. But no. Anyhoo...yesterday I found that Two Palms Casual
had the same idea. Yippee!!!!! These pieces are STUNNING and so I had
to get them. Will they make it to the shop or will they make it yo my
garden??? Hmmmmm.

More from the Outdoor Show

Day 2. So much good stuff. I really want the outdoor collection by Lee
Industries but I am not sue they are going to let me have it.
Grrrrrrrrrr. But I did find this amazing concrete chair and I hot two
in natural and two in white. I also got the little orange table and
the chairs to go with it. So damned cheerful. More later.

Last night's dinner.....

We went to this SUPERB restaurant last night in the warehouse district
in Chicago. Turned out to be quite the hotspot. The Publican is a
Belgian-ish Gastropub-ish....but incredibly sophisticated with
amazingly delicious food and kick ass interior design. I just can't
say enough good stuff about this place. However, should you happen to
be vegetarian, don't go near it. It is kind of the land of pork. Lots
of pork. Mmmmmmm. Pork. Good. If you are in Chicago, run screaming to
The Publican.
