I'm writing an article on winter squash and needed some photos to go with. These are two of my favorites. I have no idea how these two taste but the are both so incredibly beautiful. Especially the Jarrahdale Pumpkin. The color and texture are crazy!

Nature is amazing!

We were at the beach this weekend and there was this amazing log that had washed up on shore. I have never seen anything quite like it. The patterns and colorations were fantastic. Had to share.

Check out these lovely photos of our Serving Up Style (a benefit for Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus) at the Portland Expo Center - today thru Sunday - taken by the most talented Miss Heidi ......we are so pleased at the outcome........  yippee!!!!!!  Our dining room is titled "Michaelmas - the fall harvest festival of St. Michael".  Clearly, I have spent too much time reading Jane Austen novels........
