Did I mention how hot it was today??? The humidity was over 90 percent. Yikes!!!! Thank god for air conditioned hotels. Good night all!!!

Me and weirdo Todd (and his lovely mother, Lola) are off to the New York Gift Show! YIPPEE!!!! I could really use a break from this crazy water damage stuff!!!

We've got lots of appointments with great vendors and will have beautiful new merchandise to show for our travelling efforts!

It looks like we might re-open (we are crossing our fingers) on August 21, which is also the day of the Alberta Street Fair...so come on down and say hello! ...I am sure we will have bubbly an treats to celebrate!

Now that we have the carpet in, it is on to the wall and ceiling repair, cove base, paint, lighting and a reset of the entire store! WHEW! Luckily, the incredibly capable Miss Arnica is on the case Mon, Tues and Wed. Thanks Arnica!!!!

New York...here we come!

Getting ready to head to New York for the gift show this weekend. There is never a bad time to go to New York....so much great stuff to see and do! This time it is just me and the lovely Miss Barbara.

I am looking forward to finding a few new lines to carry at the shop and ordering some of my old favorites.

Hopefully, I will feel entirely better by the end of the week so I can get the most out of our short time in the city...... this has been a rough few weeks! Geez!
