The British are coming!!!

I think we are starting to see a new trend emerging-the Union Jack. We
found a great new vendor called HALO from England and seen to be
starting a new style with British vintage. Big and chunky pieces. Dark
cozy rooms.... Let's see where this goes ....

Anyhoo...... The invited us to a great party on Saturday night and we
had a blast!!! How cool is this? Just as everyone started to arrive
they threw down red and white rose petals.

Day 2. Photo ramblings from the High Point furniture market.

The next 20-ish photos are from the Hickory Chair showroom. It was
super cool as the had all their big name designers on site for book
signings. We got to see my darling Thomas O'Brien (sigh), Alexa
Hampton, Suzanne Kasler, Mariette Hines-Gomez and Albert Sacks.
Wow!!! All in one place at one time!! It was great to get to be able
to see all the new additions in person.

Anyone who knows me is WELL aware of how happy I am to have an
account directly with Hickory Chair AND how much I LOVE Thomas
O'Brien.....

My timing was perfect today!!!! While in the Hickory showroom today
for a meeting with my rep Alfred, I just happened to snap a photo with
my major design hero himself!!!!!! Yippee!!!! He was most gracious
And I was most grateful for his time!!! He even signed his new book,
American Modern for me. Of course I paid for the book....but you know
what I mean!!!! His new pieces for his collection are lovely....
I've got some snaps that I will add tomorrow. Too tired now so it is
off to bed. What a great day.......

I'm stalking Thomas again...
